MOOC - Massive Open Online Course
A Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is an online course available for anyone. It is an open course that does not have any restriction for the public. The main characteristic of the MOOC is the facility it provides for many motivated people to learn and specialize in something they desire. The classes do not have limited number of students, and there are hundreds of specializations and courses in any area. I discovered MOOC when I was working in the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Laboratory at FEI University with my coworkers. I was fascinated with the easy access for the class, the feedback from the professors and teacher assistants and the chats with other students in the class.
I saw this platform as a good way to improve my knowledge. Therefore, I took several classes and I am still taking some classes to help me to apply it in my current and future researches.
